Holy crap! I've been out of action again...

Sorry about that. Me and the hubby are still trying to move.

Isn't that sad! It's not even our fault!! Stupid lenders...

Never use Taylor, Bean, & Whitaker or Round Point for mortgaging!! They almost seriously screwed us. I say almost because we're not completely screwed... yet...

I won't go into the details, it's not pretty. I'll tell you in another journal if you really want to know.

Anyway, I'm trying to clean up my dA because I'm finally making the templates for my blog site that will have posts of Photoshop tutorials adapted for GIMP. Meaning it was a Photoshop tutorial that I took and converted so you can do the same thing in GIMP.

But that's only part of the posting I want to do. I plan to do just plain GIMP tutorials, along with Inkscape and maybe Microsoft Expressions and ASP.NET tutorials.

I've got another site I'm doing to hold my widgets and programs I make.

So it's going over quite well actually.

Okay...

What I need from you guys is help. I'll be posting my WIP templates, I've got 2 that I'm considering.

The first one aptly named Blog Template 1 has the full navigation, though the Login maybe moved down to the footer as I will be the only one using it.

The second one again, aptly name Blog Template 2 only has the background and lines completed for the navigation. If I use that I'll put icons, but I can't find a full set to suit my needs.

Maybe one of my generous watchers can help me out? Lol. ^.^

Which template should I use guys? The first one or the second one? And yes the top right image is my logo for my business.

Also, last thing...
Microsoft has a program called WebsiteSpark. You sign up and they GIVE you Expression Studios, I think this is the CS4 equiv O.o;; Visual Studios 2008, and SQL Server 2008 Web for FREE. I have to read the agreements, there's 3, again to see what my obligations are but you don't pay any money.

So I'm excited... now if I can ever get the software downloaded.... I've the got the Expressions Studio loaded and installed but I NEED the Visual Studios 2008 to get started coding my website. *sigh* I hate dial up.

Anyway, wish me good luck. Oh and if you need info on WebsiteSpark, just ask! I'll be happy to help, just make sure to tell me what you think of the templates!

I don't forget! I'm looking for someone to help with the icons if I got with template 2. Even if I don't for now, I'll eventually use them when I update the theme!! I like icons for the navigation, just looks more fun. Lol.
